AHA supports grassroots efforts to share the art and craft of rewilding Sonoran Desert food forests in the built environment through planting, cooking, arts, crafts, story-telling and celebration.
AHA seeks to empower diverse (and often under-valued) artisans and place-makers who combine creativity and imagination to produce and share handmade articles for homes, gardens, and in the community.
AHA has grown out of nearly thirty years of grassroots and permaculture inspired workshops, demos and events that include natural building, rainwater and watershed stewardship, and Sonoran Desert foods.
AHA is building a diverse advisory board of creative place-makers and change agents to guide us as we grow the organization to support visions and actions for a healthy, just and delicious future.
